Kara creator Ann Mullan spent many years in the Irish pottery industry before starting Kara Irish Pottery. Actually crafted in  Derry, Ireland each piece in the Kara line shows a different traditional Aran Isle stitch design, Kara Irish Pottery has created a table top line that is both stylish, elegant yet traditional and practical.
